Berchules (0.8 MW) is a run-of-river power plant with an average annual production of 724 MWh. It is located in a dry tropical climate. Currently, this plant is in disuse, and refurbishments actions are ongoing aiming to restart the plant activity in December 2022. The plant has a horizontal Francis turbine that operates in a flow range of 0.2-0.8 m3/s. The nominal head of the plant is 138 m, with a nominal speed of 1500 rpm. The main use of the water is for irrigation and drinking water.
