iAMP-Hydro colleagues exchanged with experts at Event Digitalisation in Hydropower 2024

iAMP-Hydro colleage Bhaskar Paudel reports from Garmisch-Partenkirchen:

"As part of the iAMP-Hydro project, we recently participated in the vgbe Expert event "Digitalisation in Hydropower 2024" in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, organised by vgbe Energy. This event provided valuable insights into the future of hydropower through digitalisation, covering areas such as real-time monitoring, data-driven decision-making, and predictive maintenance—key components in advancing the efficiency and sustainability of hydropower systems.
We also had the privilege of taking an education tour to the historic 100-year-old Walchensee hydropower plant and the TU Munich Obernach research station. These visits provided a fascinating look at how legacy infrastructure can evolve through modern innovation, something we strive for in our work with iAMP Hydro, where we are focused on implementing advanced monitoring solutions to enhance the performance of turbines in hydropower plants."

It's great to see that this exchange is enabling the experts in the field to gain more knowledge and inspiration.

iAMP-Hydro is glad to annonce here also the partnership with the ReHydro project, where vgbe is a part of the consortium. See more in Partnerships - www.iamp-hydro.eu .
