Accepted paper about computational fluid dynamics modelling

The iAMP-Hydro project coordination team congrats Israel Ohiemi for the accpeted paper: Supporting the digitalisation of existing hydropower plants using computational fluid dynamics modelling.

What's in it?

Israel explains how Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) can be carried out for long time operating HPPs, when it is challenging to have exact or any plans of hydropower turbines.

What is the result?

The inverse design method and digital twin integration can support the digital transition in the hydropower sector through real-time data applications, predictive maintenance, and adaptive operational strategies to improve performance, safety, and ecological compatibility.

This is another good news for the hydropower sector.
